Affordability The SD300 Pro 3D Printer carries both a low initial investment cost and low cost of ownership. There are no post-build curing processes required and no need for dedicated personnel. In addition, the price of the SD300 Pro consumable materials is very economical, giving an extremely attractive build cost per model.
|
Ease of Operation Anyone can operate the SD300 Pro 3D Printer. The model build process requires no intervention and the replacement of consumable materials can be done by anyone - it is no more complicated than changing cartridges on a copy machine or a 2D printer. The SD300 Pro creates no ambient dust or residue so there is no cleanup required after each build.

Durable models Using Plastic Sheet Lamination, the SD300 Pro 3D Printer produces rugged yet flexible models made of SolidVC ®, a rigid PVC based plastic. The accuracy, strength and durability of the parts produced by the SD300 Pro make them perfectly suitable for all stages of the design cycle, from concept verification through form, fit and functional testing, including snap-fit. Models can be machined, drilled, finished and painted, and they show no distortion over time.

SolidVC Material Kit |
|||
| The materials used in the Solido SD300 Pro 3D
Printer are a combination of PVC (PolyVinyl Chloride) and our own
adhesive which results in rugged yet inexpensive models. These models
can be machined, drilled, finished and painted and show no distortion
over time. Each SolidVC Material Kit includes 7.5 Kg. of build material. The materials are balanced so that all materials are replenished simultaneously |

Software SDView |
|||
| The SD300 Pro 3D Printer's robust front-end software, SDView®, is an intuitive, feature-rich, windows-like application that supports both STL and 3DS input files. SDView® enables the user to manipulate and edit the model prior to sending the "build" file. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| The software also gives the user the ability
to split large models into two or more component parts, if necessary, as
well as to position multiple items on the virtual table for simultaneous
model building. Upon completion of the model preparation, the user then simply clicks the "Build" button to immediately start the model creation process. Once the process starts and the data transfer to the SD300 Pro begins, the user's computer is freed for work on other applications. The user can monitor the model building status and the consumable material levels from the workstation throughout the entire build process. |
